Backing Tracks for Live Bands
Extract the instrumental from any song on YouTube. Use it as a rehearsal reference or play parts of it live to fill gaps in your lineup.
The problem
Cover bands need reference tracks for rehearsal, and sometimes backing tracks for instruments they don't have (strings, horns, synths).
The solution
Extract the instrumental from any song on YouTube. Use it as a rehearsal reference or play parts of it live to fill gaps in your lineup.
How it works
1
Find the song
Use the studio version on YouTube for the cleanest separation.
2
Extract instrumental
AI removes the lead vocals, leaving all instruments intact.
3
Use in rehearsal or live
Import into your DAW, click track setup, or in-ear monitor system.
Why Voxmin
Full arrangement preserved
All instruments stay — drums, bass, keys, guitar, strings, horns.
Reference for rehearsal
Use the instrumental to learn arrangements or practice parts.
Live performance ready
Route through your in-ear monitors or PA for live shows.
Affordable for bands
Convert your full setlist for a fraction of a music director's fee.
"For arrangements with strings or synths we cannot play live, we prepare an instrumental reference and decide what belongs in our backing-track rig."
