Train from clean permitted recordings

Create an AI singing voice clone from audio files

Build a private singing voice model from audio you own or have permission to use. Voxmin prepares the sources, shows training progress, and files the finished voice in your catalog.

Permitted voices onlyreusable modeltrain once

  • Train only your own voice, or one you have explicit permission to use

What this workflow means

A voice clone learns the dataset you actually provide

Training does not invent missing range or remove every defect. A dataset full of reverb, clipping, harmonies, different singers, or one narrow vocal behavior can teach those limitations to the model. Select one permitted singer, use clean recordings, cover the real low-to-high range, and remove takes you would not want reproduced later.

Understand song generation vs voice conversion
  1. Step 1

    Collect one singer

Choose recordings that consistently represent the same permitted person, recording identity, and intended singing use.

  2. Step 2

    Clean and diversify

Remove noise, clipping, heavy effects, duets, and weak takes while retaining useful range, vowels, consonants, and dynamics.

  3. Step 3

    Train and inspect

Review the displayed limits and authorization, follow the background stages, then test the ready model on suitable source performances.

Better inputs, better decisions

Audio quality matters more than file count

More minutes can help only when they add clean, relevant vocal information instead of repeating problems.

Prefer dry lead vocals

Reverb, delay, distortion, loud backing tracks, and room noise make the target vocal identity harder to isolate.

Cover words and notes

Include different vowels, consonants, sustained tones, transitions, intensities, and the pitch range planned for covers.

Avoid multiple singers

Duets, choirs, harmonies, and changing speakers teach conflicting identities unless they are removed first.

Keep source records

Retain original files and written permissions so the dataset’s ownership and intended use remain documented.

A good fit

  • Dry studio vocal takes
  • Clean microphone recordings
  • Authorized vocal stems
  • Several compatible sessions from one singer

Plan around this

  • Speaking alone may not cover singing range
  • Effects and backing vocals can be learned
  • More audio is not automatically better
  • Voice consent must cover the intended use

Clear answers

Singing Voice Clone From Audio questions

These answers distinguish the real Voxmin workflow from broader search phrases and set expectations before you spend credits or upload creative material.

Upload audio and train my voice
What audio files can I use to clone a singing voice?

My Voice Studio accepts WAV, MP3, FLAC, M4A, AAC, OGG, Opus, and WebM audio. Use clean recordings of one singer that you own or have explicit permission to train.

Do I need isolated vocals?

Clean isolated lead vocals are the strongest input. Voxmin can prepare sources from other recordings, but heavy music, backing vocals, reverb, and noise can reduce isolation quality or become unwanted training material.

Can I clone a singing voice from one short clip?

The current Voxmin workflow focuses on training a reusable model from a reviewed dataset rather than promising an instant zero-shot clone from a few seconds. Use enough varied, clean audio to represent the expected range and diction.

Can I train the model without installing RVC?

Yes. Voxmin manages preparation, training, progress, recovery, and billing in the browser. You do not need to install a local RVC WebUI or provide your own GPU.

Can I mix speaking and singing recordings?

Speaking can add phonetic variety, but a model intended for singing also needs clean sung material across the relevant pitch range and vocal behaviors. Keep all sources consistent with the same permitted singer.
