Want to sing along to your favourite song but can't find a karaoke version? If the song is on YouTube, you can create your own karaoke track in a few minutes using Voxmin's karaoke maker.

What You Need

  • A YouTube link to the song you want to convert
  • A free Voxmin account (for karaoke conversion)
  • Nothing else — no software, no plugins, no DAW

Go to YouTube, find the song, and copy the URL from your browser's address bar. It will look like:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ

Shortened links (youtu.be/...) work too.

Step 2: Paste It Into Voxmin

Go to voxmin.com and paste the link into the input field on the homepage. Click Preview to fetch the video details and confirm you have the right track.

Step 3: Click Karaoke

Once the preview loads, click the Karaoke button. If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to sign up — it is free and takes about 30 seconds.

Step 4: Wait for AI Vocal Removal

Voxmin's AI analyses the track and separates the lead vocals from the instrumental. For a typical 3–4 minute song, this usually takes under two minutes.

Step 5: Download Your Karaoke Track

When processing is complete, you can download:

  • MP3 — the clean instrumental, ready for backing tracks, rehearsal, or streaming
  • MP4 — a full karaoke video with the vocals removed, suitable for a projector or screen at a venue

That is it. No manual editing, no music production knowledge needed.

Tips for Best Results

  • Official music videos tend to produce cleaner results than live recordings or covers, because the studio mix has a clear separation between vocals and instruments.
  • High-quality uploads (1080p, official audio) give the AI more to work with.
  • Acoustic or a cappella tracks are harder for any vocal remover — the AI performs best on modern pop, rock, hip-hop, and EDM.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Voxmin's YouTube karaoke maker free?

The YouTube downloader (audio and video download) is always free with no account required. Karaoke conversion uses pay-as-you-go credits starting from ₹30 per track.

Does it work on any YouTube video?

It works on any publicly available YouTube link. Private and age-restricted videos cannot be processed.

Can I also upload my own audio or video file?

Yes. In your dashboard you can upload MP3, WAV, MP4, and other formats directly — you do not need a YouTube link. The same AI vocal removal applies.
