Connect Claude Code

Add the Voxmin MCP server to Claude Code with one command, so Claude Code can make pictures, songs and karaoke with your Voxmin credits.

Claude Code

Claude Code connects to Voxmin's MCP server directly over HTTP — one command, then sign in with your Voxmin account.

Before you start

  • A Voxmin account with some credits.
  • Claude Code installed and signed in.

Add Voxmin and sign in

Add the server

claude mcp add --transport http voxmin https://api.voxmin.com/auth/mcp

Add --scope user to have it in every project, not only this one.

Sign in

In Claude Code, type /mcp, pick voxmin and choose Authenticate. Your browser opens Voxmin: log in if you are asked, check that the page names Claude Code, and choose Approve.

Voxmin lists Claude Code under AI Integrations → Connected apps. Sign out there stops it at once.

With a personal token instead

For a machine with no browser, or a script, use a personal token from AI Integrations. It starts with vxm_ and is shown only once, so copy it when you create it.

Run this in your terminal, with your token in place of <your token>:

claude mcp add --transport http voxmin https://api.voxmin.com/auth/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer <your token>"

That adds Voxmin for you in the current project. To have it in every project, add --scope user:

claude mcp add --transport http --scope user voxmin https://api.voxmin.com/auth/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer <your token>"

Sharing the setup with a team

--scope project writes the server into .mcp.json at the root of the repository, which is meant to be committed. Never put a token in that file. Claude Code expands environment variables in .mcp.json, so each person keeps their own token in VOXMIN_TOKEN:

.mcp.json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "voxmin": {
            "type": "http",
            "url": "https://api.voxmin.com/auth/mcp",
            "headers": {
                "Authorization": "Bearer ${VOXMIN_TOKEN}"
            }
        }
    }
}
export VOXMIN_TOKEN="<your token>"

Check it works

  1. Run claude mcp list. Voxmin should show as connected.
  2. Inside Claude Code, /mcp lists the server and how many tools it has.
  3. Ask: "What's my Voxmin balance?" Claude Code calls get_account and answers with your credits.

Then try something real — "Make a square picture of a lighthouse at dawn and give me the link" — and Claude Code will tell you the price before it spends.
